*All other tests are done with the iTIG, and the output leads from the iTIG are used for these tests.
iTIG MOTOR TEST ACCESSORIES:
There are three types of accessories that be used with iTIG to improve the efficiency, productivity and safety. Use the Electrom iTIG to test DC motor armatures, stator coils, and other coils with very low inductance or impedance. The iTIG’s dedicated user interface for DC motor testing is easy to use for quick and accurate testing.
DC Motor Testing Accessories:

Armature Bar- to- Bar Surge Testing (ABT)
Use the ABT accessory to conduct a bar- to- bar surge comparison test or to surge test single coils with very low inductance. The test voltage measurement is 4- wire and not load dependent. The maximum ABT output is 1400V.

Bar- to- Bar Probe (BBP)
The BBP bar- to- bar probe is included with the ABT accessory.

Armature Surge Probe (ASP)
The Armature Surge Probe (ASP) works with the ABT accessory. The ASP is an alternative to the BBP that is included with the ABT.

It can be used for starting tests and hands- free operation of the iTIG surge tester models.
